How do you verify the quality of used trucks before export?
Every unit passes a multi-point inspection at our Liangshan facility: cylinder pressure testing, ECU data verification (engine hours and fault codes), chassis NDT for fatigue cracks and fifth wheel wear checks. Each truck is delivered with inspection reports and video verification before shipment.
What documents are needed to export a used truck to Nigeria?
We provide the full export documentation package: commercial invoice, bill of lading, certificate of origin, chassis/engine number verification and customs clearance documents. For Nigeria and other African destinations we also coordinate the required vehicle inspection and destination port documentation.
Which ports do you ship from, and what are the logistics lead times?
We ship from major Chinese export ports including Tianjin Port, Qingdao Port and Shanghai Port. Ro-Ro shipping to West Africa typically takes 25-40 days, to the Middle East 15-25 days, and to Southeast Asia 5-15 days depending on the route and sailing schedule. We arrange vessel booking, port handling and transit insurance as part of the delivery package.
How do you ship trucks to Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia?
We offer Ro-Ro, bulk carrier and containerized CKD/SKD shipping options. For high-volume buyers, containerized knockdown shipping can cut freight costs by 30-40% and often qualifies for lower component import duties in the destination country.
What payment terms do you accept for wholesale orders?
We support T/T (30% deposit, 70% before shipment), L/C for larger orders, and offer flexible terms for long-term partner fleets. For new partnerships we also support escrow-backed transactions to protect both sides. All payments are documented through our export trading process.
Can you supply spare parts with my truck order?
Yes. We recommend a first-phase consumable parts kit at a 10:1 ratio per vehicle - engine filters, brake parts, suspension components and electrical spares - so your fleet keeps running for the first 6-12 months without parts delays.
Which truck models are best for mining and harsh road conditions?
For mining and poor-road operations we recommend SHACMAN F3000 (WP12, 430HP) with hub-reduction axles and reinforced leaf springs, or HOWO TX models with 371-430HP powertrains. We adapt suspension, axle ratio and cooling systems to your specific site conditions.
How do you handle customs clearance in Ghana and other West African countries?
We prepare the complete clearance package for Ghana and regional destinations: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin and chassis/engine verification documents. We also advise on applicable import duties, the Ghana Standards Authority vehicle examination process, and coordinate with your local clearing agent so trucks are not held at Tema or Takoradi ports longer than necessary.
How does payment security work for first-time buyers?
First orders are commonly structured as 30% T/T deposit with the balance before release of shipping documents, or via confirmed irrevocable L/C for larger volumes. We also provide production and loading photos/videos at each milestone so you only release payment against verified progress.
