20 Units HOWO 8x4 Dump Trucks for Road Construction in Ethiopia
Shandong Mammoth Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. successfully delivered 20 units of HOWO 8x4 371HP dump trucks to Addis Road Construction PLC, one of Ethiopia's fastest-growing highway contractors.
The customer needed heavy-duty tippers capable of hauling 30-40 tons of crushed stone on rugged highland terrain, where grades exceed 12% on many segments. After comparing several Chinese suppliers, they chose us for our complete documentation support — including CE certificates, COC, and Ethiopian conformity inspection paperwork.
All 20 units were loaded at Qingdao port in four RO-RO batches and arrived in Djibouti within 28 days, then cleared through the Ethiopia-Djibouti corridor. We arranged pre-delivery inspection with an independent SGS agent to guarantee the trucks matched contract specifications.
"The HOWO 8x4 handled our quarry-to-site hauling flawlessly. Spare parts shipped in 10 days and our mechanics were trained online by the Mammoth team in two sessions," said Mr. Tesfaye Ayele, fleet manager at Addis Road Construction.
One year after delivery, all 20 trucks remain operational with an average uptime of 92%, and the customer has placed a follow-up order for 12 more units in 2026.
