CNG Tractor Trucks Powering Myanmar Gas Distribution

Golden Gas Transportation Co. of Yangon needed affordable, gas-powered tractors to run city gas distribution routes where diesel costs have doubled since 2023.

We sourced 15 units of used CNG HOWO T7 6x4 tractors (340hp, 8m3 CNG tanks) from verified provincial fleets, each with a full maintenance history, engine compression test report, and 12-month drivetrain warranty arranged by our after-sales partner in Yangon.

Every unit was pressure-tested for CNG safety compliance before shipping, and bilingual (Chinese/English/Myanmar) service manuals were provided. The trucks were consolidated at Tianjin port and shipped to Thilawa port within 20 days.

"Running on CNG cut our fuel bill by 40%. Mammoth's team even helped us convert two diesel trucks as a trial and their technicians stayed for a week of training," said U Myo Thein, general manager.

Golden Gas has since expanded its fleet to 40 units and appointed us as their exclusive sourcing partner for 2026.
