Fleet of 45 Tractor-Semitrailer Combos for Kenya-Africa Corridor

EastCorp Transport Group, the largest cargo carrier on the Nairobi-Kampala-Goma corridor, invested in 45 units of HOWO 371 6x4 tractor trucks to double its regional capacity.

The selection process lasted five months and included a pilot unit test at their Nairobi depot. The pilot truck logged 18,000km in six weeks with zero breakdowns, which sealed the deal.

We delivered the fleet in three ro-ro shipments to Mombasa, each batch accompanied by complete Kenya Bureau of Standards and KRA import documents. Our Nairobi partner network committed to 72-hour parts delivery.

"Fuel efficiency and parts availability decided it for us. The HOWO 371 averages 32L/100km on the corridor, and Mammoth's Nairobi warehouse has never missed a 72-hour delivery promise," said Mrs. Grace Wanjiku, CEO of EastCorp.

EastCorp has extended its fleet plan with 30 more units and a dedicated maintenance agreement through 2027.
