Water Tank Trucks for Rural Water Supply in Nigeria

GreenWater Initiative Nigeria, a development partner working with northern states, ordered 14 HOWO 6x4 20m3 water tank trucks to deliver clean water to 40 rural communities.

We supplied trucks with food-grade epoxy-lined tanks, rear spray bars, and pressure-washing systems — configured for both potable water delivery and road maintenance use.

The fleet was shipped from Tianjin to Lagos via two container batches, with full SONCAP pre-shipment certification handled by our team to avoid port delays.

"Reliable water logistics was the missing piece for our program. The HOWO tankers have delivered over 300,000 cubic meters of water in eight months with only routine maintenance," said Ms. Amina Bello, project coordinator.

GreenWater Initiative expanded the contract with 8 more tankers and 2 mobile workshop trucks in 2026.
